Aqua Logger RAIN and Aqua Logger RAIN COMPACT are fully automatic weather stations manufactured by PM Ecology and dedicated to precipitation measurement. Each version offers different configuration of power supply system and rain gauge type. All stations are equipped with a GSM modem for online data transmission.
In case of a direct access to AC power supply, we recommend the use of Aqua Logger RAIN. It is compatible with all rain gauges offered by PM Ecology, including the ones with heating. Aqua Logger RAIN COMPACT is powered by a set of Lithium batteries and is dedicated to measurements in temperatures above zero with the use of unheated tipping bucket rain gauges.
All measured data is visualized in automatic data processing System accessible through a web browser. System has been designed for detailed and intuitive analysis of big data sets on multifunctional graphs. Remote configuration of the whole station, including setting up logging and data transmission intervals and text alerts, is done through the System. PM Ecology hydrological stations can transmit the data directly to customer’s server.
AQUA LOGGER RAIN
Aqua Logger RAIN is our most popular station used for long-term rainfall measurements. The station works with all rain gauges offered by PM Ecology and are used either with traditional tipping-bucket rain gauges or advanced rain gauges which use weight-based technology for measurement. Each of the stations can be heated if the measurement is conducted in sub-zero temperatures
The station is equipped in full AC power supply system which consists of a power supply, back-up battery, charger and microprocessor control system. The back-up battery provides operation of the whole station (without heating) in case of AC power supply failure.
Aqua Logger RAIN COMPACT is a fully autonomous rainfall monitoring station manufactured by PM Ecology. It is dedicated for continuous measurement of rainfall with unheated tipping bucket rain gauges. Such solution is preferred for locations without constant access to AC power supply.
The station is powered by a set of Lithium batteries, which are integrated with the data logger in one housing. Excellent power efficiency of PM Ecology data loggers allows online updates of the measured data every 24h for at least 10 years.
This high quality tipping bucket rain gauge has been designed for long-term and failure-free measurements. Its functionalities and accuracy meet the requirements of classic meteorology and hydrology. The resolution of measurements is 0,1mm and the accuracy of 2% make this rain gauge a very popular choice for standard installations.
The enclosure is made of anodized aluminium. Optional heating module makes it possible to conduct measurements all year. The sensor complies with requirements of WMO for precipitation measurements
This rain gauge measures precipitation with weighing method. In comparison to traditional pluviometers, it offers much higher resolution of 0,001mm which enables detection of very light rain. Such feature increases the accuracy of the sensor to 1% at <6mm/min rain intensity.

LAMBRECHT RAIN[E] 400
Rain gauge measures rainfall with the use of weighing method and has a significantly larger funnel – 400cm 2 . It is recommended if a more precise measurement of less intensive precipitation is required.

LAMBRECHT RAIN[E] H3
Rain[e] H3 offers weighing measurement method. It contains an expanded heating system consisting of three sections: ring-, funnel- and drain-line heatings. This rain gauge has been designed for measurements conducted in very harsh weather conditions.

PLUVIO L 400
Pluvio L 400 is an all-weather precipitation gauge using weighing method of measurement. It has two important features which distinguish it among other weighing rain gauges. The first one is the lack of a self-emptying mechanism (e.g. tipping bucket) of rainwater. Pluvio L 400 is equipped with a large container where precipitation from several months accumulates. The level of rainfall is calculated by the constant measurement of the container’s weight.
The second crucial feature is the lack of a funnel – rainfall drops directly to the main container. No accumulation of water on the ring or funnel increases the accuracy significantly. Additionally, Pluvio 2 L 400 is able to make accurate measurements of extreme raining of 3.000mm/h intensity.
